If you feel you may need additional tests, this can be discussed during your consultation.

 

Arranging Your Blood Test:​

If blood tests are recommended, you can choose to have your sample taken locally or via Nationwide Pathology. We will prepare a request form for you in advance.

Please note: Nationwide Pathology charges an additional fee for taking your sample.

 

Your results will be reviewed in full and discussed at your follow-up appointment with Llŷn Menopause.

 

Do I Need a Blood Test?​​

After the age of 45 you do not need a blood test to confirm Perimenopause or Menopause.  A blood test is advised to confirm premature ovarian insufficiency under the age of 40 years old.
